Choose your data workflow

Different tools.
Different starting points.

Renart brings data movement, SQL and Python pipelines, notebooks and dashboards into one local workspace. These guides explain where that approach fits, where another tool fits better, and what to evaluate before switching.

Renart vs Bruin

A visual workspace, a CLI and editor extension, or a managed platform: choose how you want to build and operate pipelines.

Compare the workflows

Renart vs dlt

Decide whether you need a Python ingestion library or a workspace that connects loading, transformation and analysis.

Compare ingestion workflows

Start with the work you need to do.

Replacing one tool rarely means replacing an entire data stack. Start with the part that is difficult today: authoring a pipeline, bringing in a new source, reviewing a change, keeping a job running, or sharing an answer with your team.

If you want to move between those tasks in a visual workspace with definitions kept in Git, take a look inside Renart. If you mainly need a particular connector or managed team service, use the comparisons to check that requirement directly.

These guides are written by Renart, with links to the other products' documentation. They distinguish local and hosted editions and explain Renart's public-alpha status.
